This place is worth a trip all on its own. Get the white (snowdrop) strawberry parfait. There are so many dimensions of strawberry flavors, and they all meld together so well. It's out of this world delicious. We also ordered the white plum soda, also very tasty. It doesn't come with a strawberry in it. We dropped one in from the parfait.

We have lived in Japan for 3 years now and this set meal for lunch was one of the best meals we have had. We have a young child and waitress was very attentive and kind to our son. We highly recommend to anyone visiting Uji and Byodin temple!

Rich vegetables & nice meat, grilled chicken and sweet pork.
