The restaurant is right in front of the coastal embankment, so it was great to be able to enjoy a meal while looking out at the ocean from the window. The atmosphere from the parking lot to the room was very nice. The food was also very delicious.

The location was very good. We had our meal in a room by the sea with very large windows where we could see the sunset. Many of the dishes were elaborate and delicious. Brussels sprout tempura and clams were my favorites.

I will tell you my impressions when I went there to eat before. Kaiseki Ryori Maruju is a wonderful restaurant overlooking Ise Bay, where you can enjoy a relaxing kaiseki meal in a private room. I ordered "Maruju Kaiseki" for lunch. Dishes made with seasonal ingredients were brought out one after another. Everything was beautifully arranged and a feast for the eyes. First, let's start with the appetizer, ``hassun''. The colorful side dishes in small bowls were so cute. We tasted bite-sized pieces such as candied sweetfish, deep-fried eggplant, and white-flavored chicken. Next, "Wanmono" was served. It was a soup with minced conger eel and ginger. The hamo was fluffy and had a refreshing scent of myoga. For ``zukuri'', sashimi such as tuna, sea bream, and bonito were served. It was fresh and sweet. I had it with wasabi and soy sauce. Next, ``Yakimono'' was served. It was salt-grilled mackerel and eggplant dengaku. The mackerel had crispy skin and moist flesh. The eggplant was delicious with the sweet and spicy miso sauce. In the ``Nimono'' section, stewed beef, taro, and carrots were served. The beef was tender and soaked in flavor. The taro and carrots were also soft and sweet. For the "meal", white rice and red soup stock were served. The white rice was cooked fluffy and the red soup stock had a strong flavor of kelp and bonito flakes. Finally, we concluded with "water sweets". The "water sweets" were peach and blueberry jelly. The peaches were sweet and juicy. The blueberries had a sour taste. The jelly was cool and refreshing. Lunch at Kaiseki Maruju was very satisfying. All the dishes were delicious and well balanced. The atmosphere was calm and we were able to eat while looking out at the ocean. The volume was just right and I was full. The seats were spacious and comfortable. Kaiseki Ryori Maruju is a recommended restaurant.
