More Comments at Google MapThis kushikatsu restaurant is located just outside the ticket gate of Mikawa Anjo Station on the Shinkansen. I was a pub at night and a lunch business at noon. The lunch set was about 600 yen including tax, which was very reasonable. I tried the ``Kushiage Set Meal'' which comes with 5 skewers, and the limited quantity ``Fried Horse Mackerel & White Meat Set Meal'', and both were freshly fried and delicious! Fried food doesn't sag even after a meal, and has a crispy finish, so I thought the oil I used was a good one. I think I want to go again.
I have been using it since there was a waiting time when taking the Shinkansen, and I have been going there from time to time. This is my favorite restaurant because it has a retro atmosphere and is open during the day so you can grab a drink. The price range is also affordable◎
I was just passing through Mikawa Anjo Station for work, so I visited Kushikatsu Marukan inside the Shinkansen Mikawa Anjo Station for lunch on a weekday. This is a bar where you can drink alcohol at night, but during the day they serve lunch, and their specialty is the 500 yen one-coin lunch. However, due to the recent rise in prices, the price has increased to 600 yen (still cheap!). Today I chose the curry udon set meal. A free large serving of 5 skewers, curry udon, side dishes, pickles, and rice for 780 yen. The curry udon was mini-sized, but with all the side dishes, it's worth it. Both the freshly fried skewers and curry udon were delicious. The mismatched feeling of having a reasonably priced kushikatsu restaurant in town located inside a Shinkansen station may also be appealing.
