More Comments at Google MapAs an izakaya, it has a slightly upscale feel, and I think the food is delicious. They have a wide selection of sake, some at reasonable prices. The atmosphere was good for a family dinner.
I was surprised by the cooked sea bream rice. It's pretty common, but the meatiness and delicate seasoning really caught my attention. The sashimi platter was of course delicate and I was surprised by the size of the botan shrimp. You can also eat miso. Also, the Japanese knotweed and shiso are casually added to the dish, and since it's on top of crushed ice, it's refreshing in hot weather. However, it is currently run by the master and a female staff member, so it may be best not to expect a friendly and courteous response.
