Iwakura, Aichi, Japan｜Washoku Niwa

One of the best, if not the best meal I have had in Japan. We had all the classic Nagoya dishes, and they have been much better than I have had at other famous places. Do give it a try if you are ever in the area!

A Japanese restaurant near my workplace. The shop is crowded with regular customers. Inside the store, there are mainly table seats. You decide your order while talking to the proprietress of the store. This is quite fun. I went for the daily set meal, but since I was told that I could change the fish to ayu, I went ahead and asked for ayu. All of the set meals are delicious and have a good quality feel. The tempura was very well fried and the sweetfish was also delicious. I found this a good store. Please note that parking is available near the store, which is a little far away.
