Sashimi bowl in the fish market of Chiba! I’ve actually never heard of this place til my local friend took me there. It remind me of Tsukiji but much much smaller scale. Small shops in first floor sales fresh products in decent pricing. This restaurant is specialized in sashimi bowls. They got different choices with good varieties of fish. I ordered daily special, but they have fish bowls with 8, 11 or 15 different seafood. They also got tuna bowl with varieties of tuna as well. Not much choices outside of sashimi bowl but they also have daily special with cooked seasonal fish dishes and grilled pork over rice. Fishes are of course fresh, and decent. Very affordable compare to other fish markets. Not so touristy so it’s definitely hidden spots to check out ;) Service is very friendly and nice. Free parking in the market if u tell the parking security you are there to visit restaurants.

I used it on weekdays. Located in the Chiba City Wholesale Market. In the case of a car, if you tell the security guard at the entrance that you are eating, he will give you a parking permit. Just put the permit on your dashboard. Return it at the exit. I have a box to put it in. It was past 13:00, so I was able to enter the store smoothly. There are a lot of seats, and the impression is that most of the users are ordinary people who just want to eat, rather than people involved in the market. It seems to be for tourists and the general public for dining purposes. I was told that the daily donburi is no longer available (sold out), so I ordered a set meal. The contents were two pickles, simmered konnyaku, daily sashimi (sea bream, sea bass, tuna, chicken shell), grilled menuke in sake lees, miso soup, and rice. There are two types of soy sauce, you can eat it with normal soy sauce from Kanto and sweet soy sauce from Kyushu. Rice is free of charge. Sashimi is fresh and delicious. The lees pickles and seasoning were just right and delicious. In addition, there is one seafood restaurant, two Chinese restaurants, and one light meal restaurant! It seems that other general customers are also welcome!

I had the tuna and seafood 8 kinds rice bowl and the tuna yamakake rice bowl! I want to eat fish! This is the first restaurant that comes to mind when I think about lunch. You don't have to go far to enjoy delicious food close by. There is no doubt that it will be a heavy rotation. I usually serve the daily set meal/rice bowl (mechauma), but today it was sold out so I had a different menu. I had a rice bowl with tuna, but mustard greens? It's perfect for the summer heat. If you're a Chiba citizen and you've watched a cooking show and thought it's great to catch fish, but it's a long way away, please go.
