Pukupuku is a seafood restaurant run by just a couple. It is located across the street from the roadside station Kii Nagashima Manbou. Arrived around 10:20 on a Sunday. It was written that the business would close if they ran out of fish, so I waited in front of the store for a long time, even though I wanted to wait for a while. People come one after another before the store opens, but there are almost no reservations. Numbered tickets were distributed around 10:50, and you were able to get the number one ticket without any problems. At 11 o'clock, the general will call those who have made reservations.I thought I would be called, but was told that he would call me when he was ready. After waiting for 20 minutes, I entered the store at 11:20. When I entered the store, I was informed that tea, water, serving, and cleaning up were self-service, and then I placed my order. I decided on a sashimi set meal when I visited, but humans are weak. I was captivated by the local fried fish and 7 sashimi items available only on Saturdays and Sundays, so I ended up ordering them on a whim. What a bad person for limited editions! Well, it's fine because I wanted to eat sashimi and fries, but I kind of regret it since I came to enjoy the edible aquarium. Why couldn't I choose sashimi plus mini fries? There are 7 types of sashimi, but there are many types, so I don't know much about the types of fish, so I didn't know which one was which, but they were all delicious. Fries are also delicious. And the miso soup made with dashi stock is also delicious. I wanted to go again, and this time I wanted to enjoy the aquarium to the fullest. Ladies and gentlemen, it seems that reservations for Saturday and Sunday can be made at least one week in advance, so we recommend that you make early reservations and visit. Thank you very much for the meal. I'll go again, and next time I'll make a reservation.

This was my first time visiting, but I was very satisfied and it was worth queuing up for. There were so many types and amounts of sashimi that I had never seen a better sashimi set meal. It's a slow pace because it's run by a small number of people. Also, the style is to go and pick up the food you ordered and return it when you're done eating. We were even able to take home what we couldn't finish! I would like to go eat there again even if I have to wait in line.

After finishing some errands, I drove to this place for the first time, which I had been very interested in. I had the Kamasu fried fish and sashimi set meal. According to the owner, he buys local fish that is not frozen every morning. Local fish was used in all of the sashimi, fries, ara soup, and hijiki, making it a very satisfying meal. I can't go there often because it's a little far away, but it's one of the restaurants I'd like to visit again. I think I'll go there next time when it's cold.
