Great experience. Tour guides answered many questions. Some good information posters and QR codes for English translation. I attended the auction, not just the free viewing. Still worth the visit, just won't be able to get as close/hear and smell everything as well.

5-star rating based off of me as a tourist seeing the tuna auction. Great experience you can always call back on. One of kind experience being able to see the tuna auctioned and hauled away. I did not do anything else while at the market except eat at Daiwa Sushi (see separate review). I observed up in the gallery (not the observatory deck, which requires ore registration). Auction starts at 0530, signified by flurry of bells ringing. Recommend getting there a bit earlier than 0530 if you want your pick of windows to see all the fish. *if you don’t care, there still plenty of room to see the auction (at least while I was there)

After a while, the taste of the market is lost! The food is also good, but not cheap! Don't go to the restaurant on the left, go to the smaller place over the fish market, it will be cheaper!
