More Comments at Google MapIt was my first time eating monkfish hotpot, and it was so delicious! The rice porridge at the end was so delicious that I was hooked. The restaurant was run by a husband and wife, two of them, and their grandchild, and they were very attentive in teaching us how to eat and about fish, and provided pleasant customer service. There is also a sense of security, like being at home. (laughs) I want to go again. thank you very much.
I wanted to eat monkfish hotpot, so I made a reservation and visited at the end of February. The soup was light yet rich, and it was the most delicious monkfish hotpot I've ever had! Apparently, the owner personally buys monkfish every morning, and its freshness may be the secret to its deliciousness. The teamwork between the owner, his wife, and his grandson who is in charge of customer service was also wonderful. This is a store that I would definitely like to visit again.
It was worth going all the way to Oarai on the way back from skiing in Nasu Highlands. The monkfish hotpot was very delicious. It was a miso-based soup made with ground monkfish liver, but it had a strangely refreshing yet nutritious taste, and I drank it down. There are plenty of plump monkfish. By the way, the hot pot was 2,500 yen per person, which was reasonable compared to other restaurants. . . ! Everyone recommends the red bean liver tofu, but I also recommend the vinegared oysters, as the flavorful raw oysters are big enough for two people to share.
