Hitachi, Ibaraki, Japan｜光力 岸邊海鮮料理

Visited for lunch. It was just after opening time on a weekday, but there was no line. I ordered the omakase sashimi set meal. It was said that good oysters were not available that day, so there were no raw oysters, and instead, about 3 pieces of sashimi were served. Come to think of it, it might be rare to find a sashimi set meal that doesn't include tuna, but it was extremely fresh, filling, and the soup was excellent.

■2022/07 visit Visited on a relatively cool Saturday in July. It was just before 11am and there were 4 groups waiting. The store opened on time and we entered. There are 4 (5?) counter seats and 3 tatami tables. Today we had the seafood bowl (limited to 5 meals/1100 yen) and rose chirashi (1320 yen). The time it took for the food to arrive was not particularly slow and there were no problems at all. Both the rose chirashi and seafood bowl come with salad, arajiru soup, and chawanmushi. The seafood bowl is quite luxurious considering the price, and I personally think it's one of the best in terms of cost performance. The ingredients are also fresh and delicious. The Bara Chirashi looked plain and the quantity seemed small, but when I broke it up, it was actually quite filling with plenty of seafood. Personally, I prefer rose chirashi. By the way, both of them were normal portions, but I was full. I would like to repeat it because the taste, cost performance, and volume are all wonderful. There are so many different menus to choose from, but next time I'd like to try the fried sardine set meal and the beef cutlet set meal.

The shop has been renewed. If you want to eat seafood, I think Kouriki is number one. The price, quantity, and freshness are the best.
