Nagano, Japan｜Irohado MIDORI Naganoten

Located inside the food court of Nagano Station. This is a grab n go shop providing only vegan friendly bun. At the beginning, I brought one to try it out. End up we brought 5 and finished it all before we left the shop.

Yummy! We tried five (adzuki, pumpkin, mixed vegetables, green onions and radish) and they were all delicious. Good with some beer from the bar opposite. Very friendly staff too.

All vegan, a local dish of Nagano Prefecture, oyaki are dumplings that are made from a wheat and buckwheat dough and are wrapped around a filling of flavored vegetables/edible wild plants. Many flavours to choose from, sweet and savoury options, all were delicious :) Take-away only, located in Nagano station after you come out of the barriers. Ideal especially if waiting for Shinkansen train or eating on it. Recommended :)
