Utsunomiya, Tochigi, Japan｜Gu

A kappo restaurant that mainly serves delicious grilled food. Both the fish and vegetables are really delicious. The owner is very friendly and seems to be a place for locals to relax. If it was near my work, I'd go there every night. I would like to stop by next time I come to Utsunomiya.

Every year, I go to Tochigi for Obon, and I use it at that time. The taste is definitely the best because it's all in a private room! Don't forget to try the recommended grilled fish! It's not cheap, but I think it's definitely worth the money. I will be indebted to you again next year!

Added on November 25, R4 An early year-end party this year. I asked for a 3000 yen kaiseki course again this time in a completely private room where smoking is possible. Since it is a kaiseki course, there are 8 dishes in total, such as one charcoal-grilled fish (large scorpion fish) and tsubo-yaki turban shell for each person. I always think, but is the purchase cost okay?? There is no all-you-can-drink, so there is no time limit, so I took it easy for about 4 hours (on the contrary, it was cheap lol) The customer service was wonderful every time, so I was able to enjoy it with confidence.
