Aizuwakamatsu, Fukushima, Japan｜Mitsutaya

Awesome spot that serves a local specialties of Aizuwakamatsu! It's located in what appears to be a local grocery store! They cooked​ their skewers over a charred flame and had a variety of different skewers from rice, to fish, tofu and much more! We shared a plate since we had eaten earlier before and man it was so good! They include nice hot tea on every table! We enjoyed seating g near the bar area! We also enjoyed their local rice drink which is another specialty you can enjoy it hot or cold and it has nice little rice chunks inside super good! Definitely check this place out especially if you've been enjoying some sake nearby!

Great food and location. It is located on a traditional Japanese street so you can take many beautiful photos there. I usually just order their set menu and add ちーず味噌ぱん (Cheese miso bread). Their miso are very delicious, and you can easily buy them right next to the restaurant.
