The restaurant is particularly great for lunchtime visits, as their gyudon set priced at 520 yen is a steal! The ambiance of Matsuya is very relaxing and peaceful, making it a perfect place to enjoy a quiet meal. The cleanliness of the establishment is notable; everything is well-maintained and tidy. What truly stood out to me, though, was the kindness and warmth of the staff. They greeted me with genuine smiles and were exceptionally attentive throughout my visit, making me feel welcomed and well taken care of. As for the food, Matsuya's gyudon set was simply scrumptious. The bowl of tender beef simmered in a rich sauce, served over a bed of steaming rice, was truly a flavor explosion that satisfied my taste buds. The portion size of the set was generous, leaving me happily satiated.

Have breakfast before going to Mount Takao. The hamburger and eggs are really delicious.

During the coronavirus pandemic, the restaurant was supposed to open at 5 a.m., but it remained closed, so it felt a little free-spirited, but I really like the taste. Their enthusiasm for introducing new products one after another is also better than other rival chains.
