More Comments at Google MapThis is my favorite store! I especially love the salty flavor of Chanko! Both chanko and a la carte are delicious! The store staff always treats customers with great care, making it a store you'll want to visit again and again. A restaurant you should visit at least once in Yushima ☆ I recommend it!
There are two former sumo wrestlers working here, making it a must-see for sumo fans. Chanko is also delicious.
It's been a long cold day and I wanted to eat hotpot, so this was my first visit through a friend's introduction. The entrance looks like an ordinary izakaya that privately run office workers would prefer, but once you step inside, it's bright and very comfortable. We went with 2 people, and at other restaurants, you can only order hotpot for 2 people, so you can't order anything other than hotpot (you'll get full from just the hotpot), but here you can order from 1 person, so how many? I ordered a single item, but all of them were delicious and I have high expectations for the hot pot. There were several types of soup for Chanko Nabe, so I asked the staff and if it was my first time, I would choose salt! It was recommended to me, so I ordered salt chanko. The hot pot was quite tasty, and I ordered the Champon noodles to finish off my meal, leaving me full and satisfied. There were some foreign staff members, but they were all in good spirits and we had no trouble ordering. In particular, the store's poster girl's customer service and consideration for customers was wonderful, and it was a very pleasant shop. There are many restaurants where chanko nabe is surprisingly expensive, but here you can't complain as the price is at the same level as an ordinary izakaya, but the taste is perfect! While I was eating, I saw what appeared to be the manager behind the counter, and he seemed a bit unfriendly, but after paying, I was able to say thank you for the meal! When I called out to him, he saw me off with a big smile, which made me feel warm. As soon as I left the store, the proprietress greeted me as I saw her off, and I felt like I had found a nice store for the first time in a while! Next time I will go eat soy sauce chanko!
