It's smaller than I thought, and as an izakaya in Iida, it wasn't a place to satisfy a hungry stomach. It is a place that can accommodate about 10 to 14 guests. Neat side dishes such as fried tofu pouches, konjac, and fish cakes are served. I was able to communicate with the local people in poor Japanese, and one of the guests recommended the alcohol he was drinking and shot me. The boss was also busy working back and forth between the kitchen and the hall. I was able to fill my stomach satisfactorily. The next day, the festival parade just started in front of a restaurant near Iida Station. The boss recognized me and was about to say hello, but the moment I tried to get up on the pole, the pole broke and I almost couldn't participate in the parade. However, the boss gave me a tape that could be repaired urgently and stood me up. Thanks to the boss, I was able to finish the parade safely. After finishing the parade with a grateful heart, I tried to repay them with a small gift because I was not in a hurry, but at that time, they also gave me two bottles of local liquor and coke. I went to say hello on the last day, but it was closed because it was the day after the festival. If I can go to Iida again, I will definitely go to say thank you to the boss!
