Matsumoto, Nagano, Japan｜Kuromon

First sanzokuyaki I've tried but it was the best chicken I've had in Japan!

We had lunch here and it was very good. I can recommend a the tempura prawns with beef gristle curry, it was not like it sounds to westerners but very tasty and not at all tough

I had a set menu for 900 yen of the grilled saba (oily mackerel-like local fish) which came with an appetiser, a salad, miso and rice. Amazing value and the owner speaks a little english. The menu is in English too.
