Suwa, Nagano, Japan｜きよべえ

Mostly seafood Izakawa restaurant with smallish menu only in Japanese. The owner is very helpful in suggesting dishes and food is excellent.

When I went to "Kakomi" near the hotel without a reservation, it was full, so I was introduced to the sister restaurant Kiyobe. I didn't get a taxi, so the store sent it to me. I'm really thankful to you. The food was really delicious, and personally, the pickled tuna and horse sashimi were especially delicious. At the end, I was full with thick fried eggs. Also, if you visit Suwa, please stop by.

This is my second visit to Suwa after a long absence. Even though it is a mountain, you can enjoy delicious seafood! The customer service was wonderful and polite. A wide variety of Japanese sake. From Nagano's local sake to popular brands nationwide✨ If you come to Suwa, you will want to come again.
