Popular soba restaurant oozing with atmosphere, you may have to wait for a table on weekends. First time to try “soba sashi” little sheets of soba dough served like sashimi. You also get to grate your own fresh wasabi. Yum!

My hotel helped me reserve 100% buckwheat gluten free soba freshly made everyday. Only 10 servings per day then they change back to regular wheat flour mix. The soba completely changed my image of buckwheat noodles. Tamago (egg omelette), seasonal fish, mushrooms, roasted duck were all exceptional delicious. Thanks their chef to cater for my special diet needs. Impressed!
