My favorite Izakaya in Aizu Wakamatsu! Many variety of great local sake and dishes. All dishes are delicious, but my favorites are 煮込み (Japanese style stew), ニシンの山椒漬け (Japanese style marinated fish), 馬刺し (Raw horse meat- their liver is also yummy!), 串焼き (Pork/chicken/veggie skewers), and their rice balls. 煮込み (Japanese style stew) are very popular so you might want to order first before they are sold out. Unfortunately they do not have menu in English, but staff and master are very friendly so they will probably help you out. You definitely need to make a reservation beforehand because this Izakaya is very popular in the city.
