Koriyama, Fukushima, Japan｜魚河岸処 仙

Great fresh seafood donburi restaurant. It’s right near Sendai station and we decided to grab some food there before taking shinkansen. It was evening, so the daily special dish (higawari) was sold out. But they still had many options. We chose 3-coloured dish (raw tuna, salmon and ikra) and harako meshi (rice with cooked salmon and ikra). Both were delicious, had big pieces and generous amount of ikra. It was very helpful that they had take out service so that we could take our meals and eat inside shinkansen. Usually they serve miso-soup inside the store and you can ask for additional portion for free. But in case of take away they can give you instant soup. Which is also nice.

I continue to drive from Niigata every 2 to 3 months to try this rice bowl, which is both hearty and delicious with both the toppings and vinegared rice, and is reasonably priced. (There are no rice bowls with such good cost performance in Niigata.) Due to the coronavirus pandemic, I have gotten used to taking out food, and today I had a delicious barachira in my car. Take-out also comes with instant soup and a cup of steamed egg custard. Also, Pivot's parking lot is flat and easy to park, and you can get 90 minutes free if you spend 1,500 yen. I also love the cream boxes from the nearby bakery and always buy them, but the staff at both stores are very kind and I feel comfortable shopping, so I will continue to visit them.

Good story, good cost performance. There is nothing to say about this price for this quality. The menu also has everything from rice bowls to set meals. This time I asked for a rose leaflet. Refills of miso soup are free. I'm allergic to raw shrimp so I can't eat it, so this is the only picture without shrimp lol Miso soup is clam miso soup.
