Iwaki, Fukushima, Japan｜和楽魚菜亭

It is our first time to visit Iwaki and have our first dinner in this cosy Izakaya. The food we have order including sashimi, grilled fish & chicken, salad and all other cooked food are all delicious and fresh. The service is also very good, attentive and timely. The owner is a cheerful and nice person and chatted with us. We will come again in our next visit to Iwaki.

Fish and wild vegetables are cheap and delicious. The boiled fish and sashimi platter were a must, and the wild vegetable tempura and fried bamboo shoots were also excellent. And the store staff are very kind.

I heard that the store is small, but this is my second "disappointment" I'm visiting from Kanagawa, so it's only on weekends, but... I don't think I'll be able to get in on the weekend. Questions before evaluation (TT)y There's no connection... That's what I thought, but to no avail, I visited again and again. Miraculously, I was able to enter the store. The Mexicali tempura (not fried) was meltingly delicious, and it was great to be able to offer a variety of drinks to the customers. I don't know if I'll include it next time, but let me remove the face. ...So I visited again in the fall of 2019. I sat at the same counter as last time and met the same customers as last time.
