When you've got great produce in Hokkaido, it's hard to go wrong with a grill. Aburiya does the king crab justice. The smoked platter is also excellent. Great local sake too. Worth coming back.

I thought I might not be able to make a reservation before Christmas and during the year-end party season, but I was able to make a reservation and they said they would take orders in advance because it would be even more crowded, so they were very considerate. We were seated by the corner window with a nice view, and since we had ordered in advance, the food was brought to us one after another, and all of them were delicious. Even though the staff was busy, the customer service was very gentle and the atmosphere of the restaurant was calm and I was able to enjoy my meal slowly. However, the variety of drinks seems to be limited. I would like to go again because I feel like it's okay to treat yourself to a little extravagance. Even when I was leaving, the sushi chef at the counter greeted me with a smile, which left a good impression.
