Shizuoka, Japan｜大庄水産 静岡駅前店

We decided to stop at Shizuoka on our way to Tokyo from Kyoto. First time in this city and thus first time at this restaurant. As we’ve never been to this type of restaurant in Japan, we didn’t know what to expect before we entered. It turned out to be a fantastic experience! The food was excellent and the service was great. The waiter gave us an English menu and was extremely kind and helpful, but one could easily order the food from their Japanese menu without any problem (the menu is filled with helpful pictures!). Don’t be intimidated by the Japanese advertising in front of the restaurant! Just walk in and enjoy!

The fish meals were fresh and tasty! Good place to have dinner and grab a beer with friends👍

There is a wide variety of seafood, and the aroma when grilled on the grill is very luxurious. We also had grilled, fried, and rice dishes, so there were many customers with children. Whatever I ate was delicious.
