``Tako no Tsubo'' is close to Nagaoka Station, and when you sit at the counter, you'll be excited to see the fresh seafood being prepared right in front of you. It's a little pricey, but you can feel the deliciousness of Nagaoka, and it's always crowded, so I think reservations are a must. We recommend assorted sashimi from the Sea of ​​Japan and fish such as black-throated blackthroat, but dishes using seasonal vegetables also go well with local sake. Speaking of Niigata Nagaoka, there is a wide selection of Japanese sake. At the time of my visit, they also had valuable brands such as Midorikawa's limited edition sake.

I visited for dinner on my first trip to Niigata. Located in front of JR Nagaoka Station, the store was lively and customers were coming in one after another.
