It is quietly one of the best places for a traditional izakaya experience in Takasaki! There are private booths that are great for small groups or parties. Their all-you-can-drink option is inexpensive and has a variety of delicious cocktails. The food (especially the sashimi) is always fresh and delicious.

The sushi rolls I had at Shoya were delicious. The consistency, from the freshness of the toppings to the seasoning to the way they were held, was pleasant to the palate. The atmosphere inside the store was cheerful and it was a comfortable environment to talk to. Also, the staff were kind and I was able to enjoy my meal comfortably. I went there as the second restaurant, and it was the perfect second restaurant. The price is reasonable and the cost performance is good, so I have a strong desire to go again. Shoya is the second restaurant I would like to visit in the future.
