Kusatsu, Gunma, Japan｜こうりん坊

I came here during my trip to Kusatsu Onsen. Each item was delicious, and even though I thought I ate and drank a lot, I got the impression that it didn't cost that much. The location is less than a minute walk away from Yubatake, so it is recommended. Personally, the egg soup was the best, so I would like to go there again.

Two people visited last week. I saw online that it opens at 5:30 on Fridays, so I made a reservation for 5:30. The restaurant had a sign that said "Under Preparation," but when we entered, the counter was already occupied except for our reserved seats, and all the seats had reservation tickets, so it was very busy! Some people have already paid their bills...I was like, "Huh?", but maybe the information I was looking at was a little outdated. . All the meals were delicious! You could see how busy the kitchen was from the counter, but the food was so delicious you wouldn't think so! Since I had to drive, I had to settle for a soft drink (lol). My husband also had a second drink and enjoyed it even more! The beef tataki and oden were delicious! The customer service person is probably in his 50's, who seems like the owner is not used to customer service. There were two women. I was a little nervous watching them as I was not used to them, but I was very impressed by the kindness of both women as they interacted with me even though they were doing their best, and the way they always worked with smiles on their faces. was! I'm sorry to be rude to older people, but I really thought that it's important to be charming when serving customers! I would love to go again! Next time I want to drink alcohol (lol)

Visited Thursday, mid-April 2022. I think it's a reasonable price setting for a tourist spot! The tuna platter was delicious, but the oden was lighter than expected. The shop is pleasant and gives a good impression, but there is no mask, so please be careful if you are interested 😭 It is a smoking shop🚬
