Kusatsu, Gunma, Japan｜Izakaya Mizuho

Nice and cosy restaurant! The staff and owner are super friendly. Tho the owner mainly speaks Japanese, he tried to recommend dishes to us. And all the dishes are great and inexpensive! 水穗 is the best in Kusatsu for sure! P.s. I was disappointed that some restaurants in Kusatsu rejected to serve foreigners, except 水穗.

I really love the food here, owner was very friendly to foreigners and recommended dishes that were 100% on point. The chicken skin here is the best I've ever had.

Beautiful place and very cozy. The staff was very helpful and speak english. I recommend to get the thick noodles, I choose the regular noodles which I regretted. But the food was awesome, I got the mushroom tempura set
