Popular place to eat with wonderful, friendly hosts and delicious home-style Indian food. We went twice! Loved the mango pickles. Speak English and have vegan options. Also able to cater to specific dietary needs such as gluten-free.

Had an amazing lunch here; the food was very tasty and fresh, and the owner and lady who served us were very friendly and kind. I have a strict gluten free diet and it felt very safe to eat here as they are aware of allergens. The place also feels like a small oasis when you come in; very nice ambiance.

5/5 and if was possible I'd rate higher. I lived in India and really miss the food, this place offers by far the best North Indian food I've tried in Japan (and I've been to quite a few places around). Fresh, clean, tasty and most remarkably- the spices are just WOW, a true masterpiece. When food brings tears of longing and joy to your eyes :) Also, such amazing and warm-hearted hospitality is just rare to find- I'm incredibly grateful. Gulab Jamun (in photo) was made with zafran- another level of perfection. Even the Lassi had cardamom and maybe some other spices. Made my stay in Matsumoto remarkable!!! Would love to come again as soon as I visit Japan.
