Best Spanish restaurant in this area! Too bad they do not have any other branches in Japan. Owner when overseas to study how to cook Spanish cuisine that is the reason there food is authentic. This is the second time we came here. If you want to try their paella, you must let them know beforehand as it takes time to prepare and it was worth it. Ambiance was like you are in Spain. Restaurant is small and simple. They have English menu which also provides details to some of what they offer.

Great little Spanish restaurant tucked away from the main street. Owner didn't speak much English but very friendly and happy to show us all his Spain travel photos. :) Food was good and reminded us of tapas bars in Spain, but a tad on pricey side.

This restaurant is located near the north exit of Karuizawa Station, where you can enjoy authentic Spanish cuisine. It's been over 20 years since they opened in this location, but this is the first time I've visited. There were 3 types of paella and the squid ink paella was delicious. Paella takes time, so it's a good idea to make a reservation before going. In addition, there are many wines lined up in the store, and you can drink various wines. It is recommended to make a reservation by phone as it will be crowded near the station. Also, if it is crowded, it will take a long time to serve the food, so be prepared to wait patiently as if you were in Spain.
