Amazing little restaurant of traditional cheap japanese food

I visited for lunch at 12:00 on a weekday. Although the counter and a few tables were compact, it was a very tasty restaurant. Surprisingly, there are many menu items for lunch, but this time I ordered Yamakake Stamina. (Tororo is not included in the photo, but it was served separately) The pork was delicious and so was the yam. The pickles are also exquisitely seasoned. Mom's personality is also great! There was a lot of food, and I thought I'd like to come at night as well.

A shop located in an alley in Kaname-cho. It looks like a former sushi restaurant has been turned into a set meal restaurant, and two women seem to be managing the restaurant. On this day, I received a set meal of boiled silver cod for 1,250 yen. You can choose between white rice or ten-grain rice, and you can also have half-and-half rice. It's a regular-sized rice bowl, but they also serve it in a smaller bowl. In addition to the main dish, the set meal comes with miso soup and three small side dishes. The small bowl includes dried radish, chilled tofu, and pickles. Everything is flavorful and delicious. The main stew is soft and has a nice dashi stock, making it delicious. I thought there was no broth, but the wheat gluten seemed to absorb it, which was also delicious. The hostess' service was pleasant and we had a wonderful lunch. Tennai only has counter seats and seems to be full with about 8 people.
