Great variety of Japanese food with affordable price and friendly staff. Clean place and many available seats, walk-in is ok (not necessary to book). Japanese menu only (posted on walls like typical Japanese old style restaurant), they usually have seasonal special pictures too and some fresh/limited menu written on the board as well. Unlimited rice refills. I love their fried seafood mix with homemade tartar sauce.

Very delicious Japanese Meal features their Ebi Fry(fried shrimp)!! Reasonable price!! Very good location near Sugamo Station and the shopping Street know as Grandma's Harajuku. It's pretty popular to the locals. So at the peak time for lunch or dinner, you may have to wait a little.

The shashimi is excellent. The fish has tuna, clam and white fish. With soup and rice, it was 1080 yens. Without soup and rice will cost you only 760. The shrimp tempura is also 760 yens. They are huge, about 8 inches long each. The largest in Tokyo at this price. They are very good too.
