Saitama, Japan｜shichiri食堂

I thought it was an unusual name, but it seems like it came from the place name Shichiri. This is uncertain information. I visited him for lunch. There isn't much on the menu, but you can choose from meat and fish, so you'll be spoiled for choice. It's a set meal, with three small side dishes, rice, and miso soup, making it very filling and satisfying. There is no parking lot, so you will need to park nearby for a fee. Many of the customers were women, as it is an Instagram-worthy dish.

We had delicious. However, on Saturdays and Sundays, it takes a long time from the time you order to the time your food comes out, so if you don't like waiting, don't complain and stop going in the first place. By the way, I entered the store at 11am and the food was served at 11:40am. It seems like it's a one-off operation, and customers have to do everything from taking orders and cleaning up themselves, but I don't feel bad about it at all. It's more like a school lunch atmosphere and it's interesting. The inside of the store is clean and comfortable. It's not a large store, but it doesn't feel cramped. The meal is reasonably voluminous with 3 small dishes, pickles, miso soup, and a main course, so I think it's worth it for 1,000 yen. It's not that they're very elaborate, but they're all delicious and satisfying. It's a bit of a walk from Shichiri Station, there's no dedicated parking lot or bicycle parking lot, and the road facing it doesn't have a sidewalk and is close to a railroad crossing, so cars are always passing by, so I don't think it's a convenient store to use due to the above factors. I visited here, but by around 11:30, it was full, and even though it was a weekday, it seemed to be busy, with several groups of customers giving up and saying they'd do it another day and leaving. I visited again in October 2023, and perhaps due to the recent rise in prices, there was a huge difference in the amount of the same coho salmon menu. I recommend it, but I have mixed feelings about not wanting it to become more popular (lol)

It was a very delicious lunch. There is no parking lot, so go to the nearby coin park. The interior is stylishly decorated and clean. Since it is done by one person, everything such as water and serving is self. Each menu was more than expected. Halfway through, the seats were full and there were some groups who left. One thing to note is that the banana smoothie is not for children as it has a strong citrus flavor!
