As a foreigner in Japan (spending a few months in Ikebukoro) this quickly became my favorite restaurant. They provide great food and amazing service. Ever since I left Japan I've been thinking about this izakaya on a regular basis. Can't wait to go back in the future!

We always enjoy charcoal-grilled fish and meat. It seems that the other day it was also used for drama shooting, and it is an old-fashioned izakaya with a good Showa scent. We recommend the charcoal-grilled fresh fish. And the potato mochi is unexpectedly delicious. There is also a tatami room, but it's a little compact, so it's more suitable for groups than large parties. It might be a good idea to sit alone at the counter and tilt your cup while watching the charcoal fire. It is a little-known spot in Ikebukuro♪

It's very quiet and food is served quickly. The grilled food is delicious because it is charcoal-grilled.
