More Comments at Google MapI went there on the afternoon of the 8th after seeing an article published in the Jomo Shimbun on October 6th. I received my favorite “Oribe”. The soba, Himokawa udon, and kakiage were all filling and delicious. The portions are so generous that I'm worried that the price of exactly 1,000 yen might be too cheap. It seemed like there were quite a few other customers like me, and when I saw the elderly wife serving customers and serving food all by herself, she was gasping for breath, and I felt sorry for making her so busy. It happened.
Set includes soba, Himokawa, and Kakiage. I ordered "Ayabe". Average size, but full of volume it's the best! The soba noodles are also delicious, and Himokawa is chewy. Kakiage is crispy!
Oribe and Kinoko Himokawa. Oribe is 850 yen, but it's probably enough for 2 people! It's a great combination that allows you to enjoy kakiage, udon, and soba all at once. Please be careful as it would be a waste to leave it behind. The mushroom Himokawa is really flavorful and delicious! I went there on a Saturday around 2pm, and it wasn't that crowded, so I had a relaxing time! There are several parking spaces in front of the store. If it's crowded, ask the staff if you can park somewhere. The restaurant seems to be run by mom and dad, so I don't think it's suitable for people who want to eat in a hurry and go home.
