There are many famous soba restaurants in Ashikaga, but if you want to enjoy hearty, handmade soba noodles, this is the place to go. The tempura is also crispy and voluminous. If wild vegetables are in season, don't hesitate to try the wild vegetable tempura.

For soba, I choose this restaurant (Hatsugai). Both 100% soba and regular soba are chewy and delicious. The sauce cutlet bowl set is also delicious.
