Very friendly staff, English menu available on request. Be prepared to communicate with hand and feet, but it is so worth it. The staff are happy to explain the right way to enjoy soba and tempura. The food is amazing!!! This is a nice place to have dinner while waiting for the Shinkansen, i.e. killing time trying to avoid rush hour on the way home from a day trip to Nikko.

It was my first time visiting🚶 The inside of the store was bright and clean. You can also see the tempura being fried in the oven 🙆‍♀ The soba noodles were thin and I enjoyed the flavor. The soup is sweet. Tempura is freshly fried and crispy💯 There are many kinds (shrimp, squid, lotus root, maitake mushrooms, etc.) and they are all delicious👍 I had the tempura soba (large serving). I was happy to be able to enjoy delicious soba noodles in the center of Utsunomiya 😉 Additionally, each seat has pickled vegetables and salted squid❗ Unexpected salted fish 😳 This was also a nice dish 🙆‍♀

It's open all day, so I stopped by. The salted fish and ginger pickles are delicious and are enough snacks on their own lol The 3 types of small bowls are also worth more than the price! The tempura was also very crispy and delicious.
