More Comments at Google MapI had an absolutely lovely experience. It was entirely empty when I came in, which surprised be because it was during lunchtime. Any worries I had were very quickly extinguished when the owner came out to help me order from the ticket machine, even though my Japanese is very poor. He was still very kind and helpful, and when the food came (service was quite quick) it was absolutely delicious. I had udon and tempura, but there is plenty to choose from. As I was eating, the owner and cook spoke with me a bit, which I appreciated even if I can't speak Japanese well, and they treated me to a couple of small desserts on-the-house. That was the biggest surprise, but a wonderful one. If I'm ever in the area again, I will definitely go back. If you're in the area, you should too!
This is my second visit. I visited once in the same month and fell in love with it! Reviews are mixed, but i really love it! Soba noodles are delicious even if you eat them with a little salt. Recommended. The soba noodles are so delicious that you can drink the soup. I personally love tempura too much! Squid, shrimp, eel, garland chrysanthemum, Korean ginseng, apple, etc. Shrimp, eel, and Korean ginseng are especially recommended. All delicious though. I dare say. lol Shrimp, too plump, such a delicious prawn tempura is rare. The idea of making eel tempura is the same, but above all, I love the spirit of wanting everyone to eat it because it's delicious. The recommendation is to eat it while it's hot! You tend to keep it until the end, but please eat it as soon as possible. It completely changes the taste! ! Korean ginseng, I think people who don't like bitterness and texture are not good at it, but I felt that the root part was bitter and sweet, and when I ate it with salt, it was irresistibly delicious. This price is too cheap 💦 When I came to Nasu, I definitely wanted to stop by.
The soba made by the winner of the soba-making contest is really delicious! Tempura soba is not only shrimp but also Korean carrots, eels, apples, corn, etc., but it is also very delicious! The duck soba noodles are also delicious, surpassing specialty shops. If you are lucky, you can buy fresh vegetables from the field for 50 yen per bag. This is a shop that you definitely want to stop by when you go to Nasu. Other soba restaurants were closed before 15:00, but if there were customers here, they would be open until 15:30, which was helpful.
