More Comments at Google MapThis is a soba restaurant in Mizushima. There are two types of soba: regular soba and rural soba. If you order sake, you'll be served wasabi and rakkyo, which are quite delicious. Would you recommend the duck type? They also have gyudon (beef bowl), so I'd like to try that next time.
In southern Okayama Prefecture, there aren't many restaurants that mainly serve soba, so this is a valuable restaurant that serves delicious soba. It is a short walk from Tokiwa Station, one station before Mizushima Station on the Mizushima Rinkai Railway. The location is a little difficult to find, so you may want to use the navigation function of Google Maps. It's also open at night, so you can enjoy finishing your drink with soba (or sipping on a glass of Japanese sake while working on the steamer). The taste of the soba is traditional country soba, but it is always delicious. Tofu dishes are just as good as soba. Handmade at the store, this is a delicious, traditional tofu with a strong soybean flavor. At first glance, it may not seem like you can come by car, but don't worry, there is a parking lot behind the store.
I visited at noon. The parking lot is behind the store, but it was difficult to park because only 8 cars could be parked, but one was parked across the line. Light four was fine. The shop has a small parking lot because it can accommodate a large number of people when it includes a tatami room. I ordered a daily set meal for lunch, but you can order 2 types of cold soba and 5 to 6 types of warm soba. I asked for Mori soba at the time, but when I looked at the menu later, it was better to ask for duck nanban. The amount is sufficient and the small plate dishes are delicious.
