Stumbled into here by accident and it seemed we were fated to eat the most amazing tempura! Would recommend the set for a variety of the best seasonal and ‘original’ (tempura invented by the chef was unique and delicious) or if feeling adventurous - order individual pieces. Each piece is served one at a time which is paired with a variety of salt or tempura dipping sauce. They had an English menu and the staff spoke rudimentary English.

My wife and I came here by accident because the place next door was full ... But it was a great surprise. We had the 35,000yen set menu, which I was dubious about at first for the price ("great, more overpriced tempura just because the place has nice decor....")... But when the food started rolling out , I could see that I couldn't have been more wrong. The food is worth every yen. The choice of meats, fish, and vegetables are also fresh and appropriate. The staff are wonderful, and there are English menus too (we are Canadian). You should get in there before 8 though because it will get crowded!The care that they out into deep frying every piece of food is stunning. Every piece of tempura comes perfect. Nothing feels oily, the crusts are all crispy and light. There is a selection of salts that the server will pair for you with the suggested seasoning for every piece. Even the chazuke at the end (a soup rice dish) was excellent. I would definitely recommend.

We loved it ! Special mention for the macquerel and the octopus with wasabis they were both incredible ! Thank you to the chef and all of the team for a great dinner :)
