I had the tea soba gozen and the grilled conger eel bowl. You can choose a smaller amount of rice for the bowl. I like the combination of cold soba and warm tempura, so I chose the cold one. It was delicious! I used less rice in the bowl, so it was just the right amount, but if you want to fully enjoy the ochazuke, it might be better to have regular rice. The soup stock is very delicious and can be eaten easily. It may take a while for the food to be served, so it might be better to arrive early.
I visited for lunch with my wife. I had the special conger eel rice, and my wife had the Setouchi seafood rice. The conger eel rice was crispy on the outside, fluffy and meaty on the inside, and the sweet sauce was delicious. It was the first time I had eaten such delicious conger eel! ️ It's not defeated by eel at all. The Setouchi Seafood Meal had a nice harmony of fresh sea bream, seared bonito, and octopus. The octopus was especially delicious😋You can also add dashi soup at the end. The store is located on the 7th floor of Aeon Mall in front of Okayama Station. This is a store I definitely want to visit again 🙂
