2023 Tabelog GOLD Japanese restaurant in Hamamatsu. This is my first visit after being invited to a private party by a food friend. Thank you, secretary ^ - ^ About 10 minutes walk from Hamamatsu Station. The interior of the restaurant has a counter made of a single piece of ginkgo biloba, creating a sophisticated atmosphere. Today's course was Lake Hamana natural eel and matsutake mushrooms. [Course content] ◾️ Lake Hamana wild eel, eel roll, wasabi ◾️ Enshunada Kohada pickled in bamboo ◾️ A bowl of sea bream turnip ◾️ Lake Hamana wild eel, white grilled, grated radish and ginger with autumn leaves, salted wasabi ◾️ Lake Hamana Natural Eel Unagizaku ◾️ Fried Akame Fugu ◾️ Rice cooked with matsutake mushrooms and local chicken, pickles ◾️ Lake Hamana wild eel, eel bowl, liver soup with chives ◾️ Hojicha ice cream [Drink] □ Champagne □ Bottled beer Sapporo small bottle □ Sake Isojiman □ Sake Masayuki The Kohada marinated in bamboo grass was delicious, and the ``Tai Kabura'', which does not use dashi stock to bring out the flavor of the ingredients, has a delicious flavor that spreads in your mouth with every bite. The deep-fried Akame Fugu was also crispy, piping hot and delicious ♡ The large Hamanako natural eel was meaty, and I dared to bite into the shirayaki and eel bowl without cutting it with chopsticks. The eel is grilled to remove excess fat, resulting in crispy skin, fluffy flesh, and amazing flavor. I finished eating it in no time. Matsutake mushrooms were used in rice cooked with matsutake mushrooms and local chicken, and I really like the rice and the way it is cooked ♡ The matsutake mushrooms had a rich flavor, so I wish I had replaced them. The dishes are simple, but I think the reason why they were all delicious is because of the quality of the ingredients and the careful preparation. The drinks were also delicious. The host and the shop staff had a nice atmosphere and it was fun. Thank you for the meal.

I visited in early September. It was still early in the mushroom season, so we had a full course of eel. Sea eel caught near Imakiri in the local Lake Hamana? It seems that it is. I've heard that the eel that lives there is firm due to the fast currents around Imakiri, but since the eel is heated through the binchotan charcoal, it was delicious and fluffy.

It was an impressive sea eel experience. It was thick and plump, and the skin was crispy.
