Fukuroi, Shizuoka, Japan｜Uohachi

I use it often near my home. It is located a little far from the station and city hall, and is run by the owner and his wife. The number of menu items, offerings, and number of seats may be inferior to the restaurants in front of the station, but the taste of the food and the sake are so great that you don't have to worry about that. The sashimi is delicious and has a wide variety of items available each day, and the fish dishes in general are of very high quality. And above all, the sake that the owner carefully purchases is amazing. We have a wide selection of sake that is not only based on name value, but also on taste, and is comparable to shops in Fukuroi, Hamamatsu, and Shizuoka! In winter, they also focus on hot sake, so if you like Japanese sake, this is a place you should definitely visit.

I saw it being broadcast on a local TV program the day before, so I stopped by. My wife had the seafood bowl for 1,430 yen, and I had the unaju (small) for 1,650 yen plus sashimi for 385 yen. I'm very satisfied with the taste and cost performance 😄

The sashimi was the best. All other dishes were also delicious. I want to go again.
