Shizuoka, Japan｜千花

I came to the store around 12:00 noon on a weekday. Even though it was a weekday, the counter seats were occupied. The brightness of the indirect lighting was a perfect match for the retro-modern yet new-feeling interior. The partitions installed between the seats to prevent infection are also made of wood rather than acrylic, so they do not disrupt the atmosphere. There were no customers with bad manners, and the employees were friendly. It's a very comfortable shop. What I ordered was a set of Seirosoba and small tempura bowl. ¥1,000 including tax. Great cost performance! The fragrant soba noodles and the refreshing but rich soup are irresistible. It wasn't a huge amount by any means, but I was emotionally satisfied, so that's okay. The contents of the tempura in the small tempura bowl seem to vary depending on the day. What I received were shrimp, shishito peppers, and two pumpkins. The rice seemed to have been carefully prepared and stood out with a glossy texture. However, I thought that they used rice that went well with it and did not interfere with the taste of the tempura sauce. The shrimp tempura had no space between the body and the batter and was plump. About half of the soba noodles were served without dipping sauce. Soba has a strong aroma and taste, so it can be enjoyed as is. It's also nice to be able to enjoy soba-yu. I learned from other people's reviews that the owner of this restaurant was from a famous soba restaurant in Shimizu. That restaurant is also delicious, but I prefer this one. I've been there twice, Both the tempura and soba were delicious. The soba noodles in particular were freshly made and delicious.

I think that Shimizu's soba restaurants offer pretty delicious soba. I feel that the side menu is abundant and the customer service is solid.
