I ordered hot soba soup from an English menu, and it was delicious. The staff were all extremely friendly, and even the sushi chef came to speak with us. We had small things explained to us, like the ingredients to our soup and the Japanese spice on the table. Wonderful place, would highly recommend.

This is a shop near the entrance of the shopping street in front of Atami Station. Honestly, it's been a long time since I've been so impressed with customer service at a restaurant. Best of all, even first-time customers will feel as if they are regulars and will receive warm and caring customer service. In tourist areas, even if the customer service is sloppy, depending on the location, you can get by with just a first glance, so there are some restaurants where the customer service is really frustrating, but it's different here. Depending on the menu you order, it may take a while for the food to come out, but if you have more than one person and the food is served slowly, you might say, ``I'm sorry that the katsudon takes a while. If it was good before then, it would have been good as a snack with beer.'' Let's eat this!'' and served us some recommended snacks. Even though there are many local stores that are regulars, they don't go that far. And of course the food is delicious. I had the curry nanban, and my companion had a small bowl of katsudon, which was an exquisite katsudon that was not overly sweet but had the flavor of the soup stock. Moreover, it is not a tourist price. Of course, the curry nanban also had the perfect amount of boiled soba noodles and flavor that rivaled the curry. I didn't order sushi because I had eaten Tarafuku seafood at the inn the day before, but there was a sushi counter inside the restaurant where the chefs made the sushi right in front of me, and it looked delicious. If it's in your neighborhood, it's definitely a store you'll want to visit with your family.
