This old restaurant serves local delicacy : unagi! I tried to get the popular restaurant but it was very crowded so i ended up here. Overall the taste is good even not extraordinary but i love how it is carefully prepared by the owner. I was a bit surprised as well because from outside, i cant see whether the restaurant open or not. Then when i enter, the place is quite huge. I enjoy the food.

small local spot, great food (we got different udons and soba), really good service and nice owner. no english menu though

Very good soba with tempura. The eel special is fantastic. Cook by an old chef ...single handed. Recommeded to try after Himeji castle walk.
