Nagano, Japan｜Niomonya Soba

Best soba I've had in Japan. So good. Recommend the lunch special with plum tempura. Excellent service.

How was it? Absolutely delicious! I had the 天ぎる (cold soba with tempura) and a seasonal craft wheat beer from Togakushi and paid ¥2420 (including tax). I was served with pickled vegetables before even ordering. The best also came with aubergine/eggplant and green beans in a sesame sauce. Everything was delicious and the size was very generous. I had the normal size but there were two larger sizes. The soba itself was very high quality and I'll go back if I'm ever in the area.

I am a picky soba person but this restaurant is one the best of the best I’ve been. Do try their soba-dango, it’s free if you have a coupon from the local area guide map!
