Okayama, Japan｜Sakana no Terasaka

It was my first visit because I couldn't get a reservation. I thought there were a lot of male customers, but it seems to be popular with female customers as well. It is a small restaurant with 3 seats at the counter and 3 seats at a table (for 4 people). We were very satisfied with both dishes. At first, I took pictures, but I was so absorbed in eating that I couldn't take all the pictures. This restaurant is recommended for fish lovers.

An izakaya run by a fishmonger. There is a shop behind the fish department. The inside of the shop is small with only 3 tables and a counter. This time, I made a reservation in advance, so I was able to enter the store, but it seemed to be a popular store, and walk-in customers who came one after another and telephone inquiries were all full and refused. Since it is a fish shop, fresh fish is available, and first of all, we chose a special platter. This assortment is all natural products. The sashimi was thick cut and all of them were really delicious! In particular, the mackerel sashimi was very soft and exquisite with a texture that loosens along the fibers when you put it in your mouth. No matter what you eat, you will be impressed by the deliciousness of the other meals. There are plenty of local sake, so even sake lovers can't resist. Due to the fate of the popular restaurant, it was a two-hour system, and there were two stages: the last order for fried food and grilled food, which takes time, and the last order for the whole thing. I would like to visit again when I come to Okayama.

I went on Saturday, October 9th. Assorted sashimi, boiled black rockfish, kizushi, clams steamed in soy sauce and butter. Everything was delicious. The emergency declaration was lifted, and it was full of people, and it was lively.
