I travel by car several times a year for holidays. If you leave in the morning, the road will be crowded, so you will move after finishing the previous day's work. When I head east from Kyoto, I always stay in Hamamatsu the night before. There is a regular lodging near this restaurant and I have stayed there many times, but the first time I visited was before the holidays in September 2020. I arrived without a reservation and the restaurant was nearly full, but I was lucky to be able to sit at the counter. All the dishes were very delicious. The sashimi was especially delicious. I think the general is also the quiet type, but he has a friendly personality, asking if I'm on a trip. This is a shop that I would like to visit again when I go to Hamamatsu.
