I visited to buy sashimi after reading Google reviews. I think the bonito sashimi was 1080 yen and the other sashimi was 540 yen. There was no cold bag, so when I told that, the proprietress spread ice on the styrofoam. I bought bonito and octopus for sashimi, but I was satisfied with both the freshness and quantity. I would like to ask you again if there is an opportunity.

This is a popular restaurant with long lines for bonito sashimi delivered directly from Omaezaki. We won't be open if we don't have it in stock, so it's a good idea to check first. Added on 5/1/2023 When I called at 11 o'clock today, I was told that they only had 7 dishes left and they were done with bonito, but it seems that they had closed the store and went to buy more. The shutters were down at 2 o'clock. When I went there around 5 o'clock, it was open and there was a line. I think you should check it out again It's just the couple doing it, so they're busy. You may not be able to answer the phone easily 2023/6/24 (Saturday) Postscript It seems that today is a day off.

If I remember correctly, I think the store was opened about 45 years ago. Even now, there are few residences in the area, but back then there were no more people living there than there are now, and of course Sakuradai was still in its mountain days. In my childish mind, I thought that even if a fish shop was built in a place like this, it would soon go out of business. Bonito was our main product back then, and I remember it being introduced on a radio program. One plate of bonito is 1080 yen. I don't think the price has changed for quite some time. Bonito sashimi has traditionally had skin on it, so bonito sashimi is available both with half the skin on and without the skin. It's scary to have it with the skin on, so if you're not used to it, it might be better to go without the skin. *Koi means hard in the Enshu dialect, but in the case of bonito, kowai sounds more appropriate. If you eat a decent amount of food at an izakaya or Japanese restaurant, one plate will probably cost around 2,000 yen. I feel like the size of each piece has gotten smaller compared to the past, but it used to be too big, so this size is just right for me. People who like big and filling food may feel disappointed.
